About Medicare

Medicare: Annual Election Period

When your enrollment selection has been received will effect when your coverage begins. Please see the chart below to understand when coverage will begin for you. If you are under 65, your Annual Election Period (AEP) is October 15th, 2016 - December 7th, 2016.

Annual Open Enrollment: October 15th, 2016 - December 7th, 2016
Medicare Advantage Disenrollment Period (MADP): January 1st - February 14th, 2017

Before your 65th birthday or becoming eligible for Medicare A & B due to disability, is the time to start thinking about Medicare. That means understanding what Medicare is, how and when to enroll, and what it does and does not cover. It's also time to think about the options available that can help protect you from some of the expenses not covered by Medicare. The Medicare health plan that you choose affects many things like cost, benefits, doctor choice, convenience, and quality.

Medicare has four parts, A, B, C and D. Medicare Part A covers inpatient care in a hospital or a limited stay in a skilled nursing facility. Part B covers doctors and outpatient hospital services. Medicare Part C is Medicare Advantage programs. Part D covers prescription drugs.

Medicare information and your choices are overwhelming. We provide education on a personal basis so you are able to make an informed decision that will best suit your needs and lifestyle.

Our services are at no cost to you nor do they reflect on your rates. We are compensated by the insurance carrier. Continual changes are on the horizon due to health care reform. Ask yourself, "Doesn't it make sense to have someone that keeps you informed with the changes as they occur and how it affects you?"" We would like the opportunity to work with you for your Medicare needs.
